Quokka Pods
Hayati publishes a compatibility table for its Quokka pods. It splits e-liquid into freebase, at 30/70 or 40/60 PG/VG, and nic salt, at 50/50, then gives each resistance its own nicotine range. Here is the brand's guidance, shown within the UK limit of 20mg/ml for nicotine e-liquid:
Put simply, the lower-nicotine end belongs to the 0.6 ohm pod, while the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods are matched to 20mg nic salt. A 20mg nic salt is covered by all three resistances, 10mg nic salt only by the 0.6 ohm, and freebase between 6mg and 9mg by all three.
Applied to Hayati's own bottles: Hayati Pro Max Nic Salts are 50/50 at 10mg or 20mg, so the 20mg bottles suit any Quokka pod and the 10mg bottles suit the 0.6 ohm. Their 50/50 mix is also the exact ratio the table's nic salt row is written for. Hayati marks its Shisha range of nic salts for 0.8 ohm open pods.
The 70VG/30PG Hayati shortfill is 0mg, which falls inside the freebase range for the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm pods but below the 6mg starting point the brand gives for the 1.2 ohm.
Each pack holds three Quokka pods in the resistance you pick. The pods fill from the side, use Hayati's Quokka mesh coil and hold 2ml each, the most UK rules allow in a nicotine pod.
The pods fit the Quokka Pro, Quokka Elite and Quokka Lite. The Pro and Elite ship with a 0.6 and a 0.8 ohm pod and the Lite with a single 0.8 ohm, so a pack is how you add a 1.2 ohm or restock the coil you use most. The 1.2 ohm is the pod the brand pairs with the highest freebase range in its table, 6 to 18mg. If you switch between nic salt and freebase, two packs in different resistances keep both covered. And because every Quokka kit takes the same pods, a pack bought for one device works in another, handy if you keep a Lite as a spare beside a Pro. Compare the kits on the Hayati Quokka overview.
Choosing a resistance: 0.6 ohm gives the most open draw, 0.8 ohm sits in between, and 1.2 ohm gives a tight mouth-to-lung draw. The colour on the base tells them apart: black for 0.6, orange for 0.8 and blue for 1.2. The pods fit the Quokka Pro, Elite and Lite.
Yes. Hayati's compatibility table covers the Quokka Pro, Quokka Elite and Quokka Lite.
Three Quokka pods, all in the resistance you choose.
By Hayati's table, 20mg nic salt at 50/50 PG/VG falls within the range for all three pods: 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm.
Quokka pods are side fill, meaning the e-liquid goes in through the side of the pod.
