X4 Kit
On the X4, the pod you fit decides the power band. Smart Mode reads the pod's resistance and sets the wattage to match, and you can also set the wattage by hand.
The airflow is adjustable as well, so the pull can be opened up or closed down without changing pods. A display on the device shows its status, including the battery and the wattage, and the X4 fires when you inhale.
Nothing comes prefilled here. Each X4 pod holds 2ml and fills from the side, and the clear pod shows when the level is getting low. Because you choose the e-liquid, you also choose the nicotine strength: anything up to 20mg/ml, the UK limit, which is sold in bottles of up to 10ml. A 0mg liquid works the same way.
Bottled nic salts such as Hayati Pro Max Nic Salts are one way to fill it. There are no separate coil heads on the X4: the mesh coil is part of each pod, so replacing a pod replaces the coil with it. Spare pods come by resistance as X4 pods.
Both are Hayati refillable kits with 2ml side-fill pods in 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm, so the pod choice looks the same at first. The difference is in the device. The X4 carries a 1,300mAh battery and runs 11 to 25W. The Quokka kits all use a 1,100mAh battery, with 5 to 25W on the Quokka Pro and 12 to 22W on the Elite and Lite. The X4's 25W ceiling matches the Pro and sits above the Elite and Lite.
The pods do not cross over by name. Hayati lists X4 pods for the X4 only and Quokka pods for the Quokka kits, so buy pods by the device you own.
The X4 comes in Aurora Green, Midnight Grey, Misty Purple, Stormy Black and Torrential Blue. It measures 31.3 x 104.7 x 23.2mm, a little over 10cm tall, and its battery is built in and recharges.
With a rechargeable battery and a replaceable pod that carries the coil, the X4 is a reusable vape, not a disposable, and it can still be sold in the UK. Its 2ml pod is within the UK limit for refillable pods and tanks. See are Hayati vapes legal in the UK for the full picture. The X4 is for adults 18 and over, and nicotine is highly addictive.
Charging is by USB-C. The clear pod shows how much e-liquid is left.
Yes. Its 2ml pods fill from the side with bottled e-liquid of your choice.
11 to 25W overall. The 0.6 ohm pod runs at 18 to 25W, the 0.8 ohm at 13 to 18W and the 1.2 ohm at 11 to 14W.
Any strength up to the UK limit of 20mg/ml, because the X4 takes bottled e-liquid. The liquid sets the strength, not the device.
Yes. The airflow can be opened for a looser draw or closed for a tighter one.
Hayati lists X4 pods for the X4 and Quokka pods for the Quokka kits. Use X4 pods in the X4.
Yes. It is a rechargeable, refillable pod kit with 2ml pods, a type UK law still allows, and the single-use vape ban does not cover it.
