Quokka Pro
The Pro is the Quokka for vapers who like to see and set what the device is doing. A 1.47-inch TFT screen sits on the body, and Hayati lists three animated modes, Quokka, Super and Eco, plus a Pure mode.
Output runs from 5W up to 25W. That is a wider span than the Quokka Elite and Quokka Lite, which both work between 12 and 22W, and it gives the Pro the most room to tune each pod to your e-liquid.
The Pro arrives with two refillable Quokka pods, one 0.6 ohm and one 0.8 ohm. Hayati specifies the Pro's pod as side fill, with a 2ml capacity and a Quokka mesh coil, measuring 26.19 x 37.13 x 15.80mm. The 1.2 ohm pod comes in Quokka pod packs.
For freebase e-liquid at 30/70 or 40/60 PG/VG, the brand's guidance is 0 to 9mg on the 0.6 ohm pod, 0 to 12mg on the 0.8 ohm and 6 to 18mg on the 1.2 ohm. For 50/50 nic salts, kept within the UK limit of 20mg/ml, its table puts 10 to 20mg on the 0.6 ohm and 20mg on the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. A 20mg bottle such as Hayati Pro Max Nic Salts therefore works with whichever pod you fit.
The body is zinc alloy with a baked paint finish, which makes the Pro the heaviest Quokka at 77.3g. If you want a device with some heft in the hand, that is a point in its favour; if you want the lightest, look at the Lite.
It charges over Type-C at 5V/2A and holds 1,100mAh. Hayati's packing list adds a Type-C charging cable and a user manual to the device and its two pods. Colours include Onyx Black, Navy Blue, Moss Green, Opal Grey, Pearl White, Baby Pink and Quokka Colour.
Being refillable, the Pro runs on bottled e-liquid of your choice. A 20mg nic salt suits any of its pods, and a 0mg 70VG/30PG Hayati shortfill falls inside the brand's freebase range for the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm pods that come in the box.
The Quokka Pro is a refillable kit for adults 18 and over. Nicotine e-liquid used in it is highly addictive.
Choosing a pod: 0.6 ohm gives the looser, more open draw and 0.8 ohm a tighter one. The colour on the pod base tells them apart: black for 0.6 ohm, orange for 0.8 ohm.
Hayati's packing list names the Quokka Pro device, a 0.6 ohm pod, a 0.8 ohm pod, a Type-C charging cable and a user manual.
The Quokka Pro has an output range of 5 to 25W, with Quokka, Super, Eco and Pure modes.
